Ripe and intense with a pretty array of flavors ranging from herb, mint, spice and currant. The texture is rich and smooth and the flavors keep repeating themselves on a long, full finish, where you pick up tobacco and cherry notes.

A deep ruby/purple color and a bouquet that offers pure, moderately intense aromas of smoke, cassis, and spicy oak, are followed by a wine with deep, ripe, rich, curranty flavors, firm, elevated tannins, and high acidity. Noticeable tartness from the acidity kept the score low. This wine should age well for 12-15 years.
